Dr. Mary Charles, born in Zaria, Kaduna State Nigeria, is a renowned Beauty Professional, Esthetician, and Educator with over 24 years of experience. She is the Founder of Twinkul Skincare Ltd, a USA-certified skincare expert, permanent makeup and body tattoo artist, and a certified PhiBrows Artist(Switzerland). Her work has been instrumental in shaping and advancing the beauty industry in Nigeria and beyond. Her academic journey began in the United Kingdom, where she earned a Diploma in Business Administration from South Bank Polytechnic, London. In 1989, she moved to the United States, where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus, in 1992. Motivated by a passion for beauty and wellness, Dr. Charles enrolled at the prestigious Tinny’s Beauty and Figure Institute in New York. She initially earned a certificate in Skin Care, Permanent Make-Up, and Body Tattoo in 1999. Her expertise was further deepened in 2005, when she received an Advanced Diploma in Skin Treatment Instructor from Tinny’s Beauty & Figure Inc., Manhattan, New York. In 2022, Dr. Charles attended the PhiBrows School in Zurich, Switzerland, regarded as the best microblading school in the world, where she became a certified PhiBrows Artist. Having acquired extensive international training, she returned to Nigeria in 2000 and established Twinkul Skincare Ltd, becoming a pioneer of permanent makeup and body tattoo services in Nigeria. Her influence continues to expand, with the opening of a beauty studio in Zurich, Switzerland, serving a diverse and global clientele. In line with her commitment to professional excellence, she pursued further education and, in 2017, obtained a Diploma in Medical Esthetics from the Lagos State College of Health and Technology, Yaba Lagos Nigeria.
